TAKE.IN In the Media

Now to Love Womens Day| July 27, 2026

Very exciting for our necklace to be featured in the top picks by now to love editors, alongside some of the worlds leading wearable technology. Our necklace was always designed to help people understand the data and have a meaningful tool (the breath) to change and influence what has happening in their bodies and emotions. The closed loop nature of breath awareness > sense it > provide insight > guidance to shift > train it over time is what feels so meaningful to health outcomes.

Breathe your way to less stress | July 25, 2026 | Viva Local Life - Bay of Plenty Times.

Two Kiwi mums believe the answer to managing modern stress isn’t just more data — it’s learning to understand the way we breathe.

From back-to-back work meetings and overflowing inboxes to parenting, financial pressures and the endless mental load of keeping life moving, our nervous systems are constantly processing combines wearable technology, breath-based biofeedback and nervous system science to help users better understand how their body responds throughout the day.

We sat down with Tom Raynel, Multimedia Business Reporter at the NZ Herald, to share the story behind TAKE.IN from the personal experiences that inspired the idea to the challenge of designing complex wearable technology with a simple purpose: helping people better understand and regulate their emotional wellbeing through their breathing.

Focus Magazine - July 8, 2026

We're incredibly grateful to have been featured in Focus magazine, where they took the time to explore not just the technology behind TAKE.IN, but the bigger question of why breathing matters in the first place.

The article dives into our mission to create jewellery that helps people better understand their breathing and use it as a practical tool for emotional regulation. It explores why we chose to measure breath over more traditional health metrics, how our proprietary Breath Intelligence technology works, and our belief that meaningful wellbeing starts with understanding the body's earliest signals.

One passage, in particular, captured exactly what we've always hoped TAKE.IN would represent:

"But one thing is certain: in a world that constantly encourages us to move faster, a gentle reminder to pause, breathe and reconnect with ourselves feels surprisingly timely."

We couldn't have said it better ourselves.

TVNZ Business Breakfast - Mei Heron | July 14, 2026

We visited the TVNZ studios in Auckland to chat with Mei Heron about the story behind TAKE.IN and why we believe breathing deserves far more attention in health and wellbeing.

One of the most rewarding parts of the conversation was hearing Mei's own perspective and prior knowledge of the power of breathing. It's always encouraging to meet people who already recognise how something as simple and accessible as our breath can have such a meaningful impact on how we feel, think and respond.

A huge thank you to Mei and the TVNZ Business Breakfast team for the opportunity to share our mission and introduce more New Zealanders to what we're building.
