How does the technology work?

TAKE.IN uses proprietary sensing technology to continuously measure the quality and patterns of your breathing.

Our Breath Intelligence platform translates those signals into meaningful insights, helping you understand how your breathing compares to your own rested baseline, recognise patterns associated with stress or dysregulation, and identify opportunities to improve.

The app then provides personalised breathing guidance, allowing you to see how changes in your breathing influence your physiological state and build healthier patterns over time.

Why breathing instead of heart rate?

Its not a case of one or the other. Heart rate and HRV are valuable physiological metrics that help us understand how the body is responding.

Breath Intelligence provides a different physiological signal, metric, insight and purpose.

Unlike heart rate or HRV, breathing is both something we can measure and something we can consciously influence. Plus importantly its something we can feel and tune into.

Every breath carries information about our physiological and emotional state, while also providing a direct pathway to regulate it.

Is the technology scientifically validated?

Scientific validation is fundamental to our development.

Our technology is being validated through research studies and comparison against established physiological measurement methods to ensure the breathing signals we measure are accurate, meaningful and reliable.

Are things being recorded?

The pendant isn't designed to record conversations or save audio. It extracts the breathing signal needed for analysis and converts it into physiological data, rather than storing speech recordings.

What stage is TAKE.IN at?

TAKE.IN is currently in the final stages of research, validation and product development.

We're completing extensive testing, refining the hardware and software, and preparing for our first production run. By pre-ordering, you're supporting the launch of an entirely new category of wearable technology while being among the very first to experience it.

When will my necklace be delivered?

Delivery is expected late 2026.
